church 7
the saint kings constantin and elena orthodox church .
built between 1990 – 2004 . after 1989 (the anticommunist "revolution") people started to build churches . dozens in brasov , tens of thousands in romania . but because the money is not enough sometimes it takes a long time and some of them are not finished yet . this is one of the biggest and it's in the valea cetăţii / răcădău district .

Wow! I love the architecture. I would have thought it was a really old structure. Wish we still built churches that looked like this.
bigger is better right? It is impressive.
Very beautiful. Very nice architecture building. :)
Yes, I've seen these big churches all over Romania, and many of them are less than 20 years old. When I lived in Tg Mures in 1994 they were building a huge one near where I lived - I wonder if it's finished yet?
Thanks for your visits and kind words at Glasgow DP. I'm back now! :)
Very impressive, thank you for the history. The triple door entryway is nice.
That is a really, really, HUGE church.
