it is very warm for november ... and i like it a lot ... hahaha
this one is from the tâmpa promenade and is one of my favourites . really looks like a fairytale land with the colours and the beams of light ... but if you look closely you can see a public light pole ... hehehe
i can get rid of a song inside my head ... i got it from a tv show episode (cold case) , you know , where they solve old police cases and they make you remember the year of the case by a soundtrack with songs from that time . it's "heaven" by bryan adams (cheesy , i know)
i watched this documentary today and believe me , it's a must !
it's about the work of a photographer , a war photographer mostly , James Nachtwey , consider by many to be the most important war photographer . it's an extraordinary journey into the mind and work of a man who knows photography ... and life ... and death . if you have the chance , don't miss this movie .
"LOS ANGELES TIMES" : "Swiss documentarian Chistian Frei's acclaimed "War Photographer" is a remarkable portrait of a remarkable man, James Nachtwey, who has been hailed as the world's greatest war photographer.A slim, silver-haired man of 52 with the looks and presence of a movie star, Nachtwey has been determined to serve the victims of battle and poverty the world over. A man of quiet dignity and compassion, he does not exploit his subjects but rather expresses their plight through his pictures, which are astonishing documents of terrible events and deeds." ..."TIME OUT NY" :"This is as close to being inside a photojournalist's mind as it gets."

Fabulous shot! I love the beam of light too, and the fact that the trees look purple rather than brown!
Amazing photo! You are right, it looks like a shot from a fairy tale.
Thanks for the tips about the documentary, I'll keep an eye on the shops.
Yes, it truly does look like something from a fairytale! Lovely photo.
