the road is right under the walls of the castle because the pass is very narrow .
this is probably the most famous castle in romania , the bran castle .
we didn't stop to visit , maybe some other time , it was sunday anyway , so , too crowded .

You know, for all the many times I've been to Romania (and lived there, twice!) I've still never been to Bran Castle. I really must, someday.
