i don't have any pictures with the national day . and it's not my fault ... hahaha . the only thing that really happened was the flags on the light poles . so lame ! so pathetic ! the parade was a joke and on a different location , no show , the fireworks were more like a lighter flame , the christmas lighting it's gonna be next week . the official lighting up and opening for the "brasov - a fairytale town" is scheduled for thursday . i think i will be there to take some pictures .
so , today's post is about the flags . these can be seen in front of the brasov county council building . the flags for the european union , nato , romanian flag (red yellow blue) and the brasov flag (a copy of a flag from 1600 with the coat of arms - a crown with 13 oak roots symbolizing the 13 villages that formed the "barsa county" on a purple background with 2 yellow stripes)

Well, you did say it's a pain to celebrate a national day in the middle of the winter. Now we can see why! ;D
That's a neat shot, and cool information. I am sorry the National Day celebration was so lame. Perhaps the Christmas celebrations will be better!
